Kept me interested from run to finish. I will admit that after seeing the video I decided to read the ebook. There are quite a several key points that didnt create it to screen which was disapointing in a very tiny idea thus 4 stars from me!

This is by far the most pretty video I'be ever in my life watched. It furious me cry, and it made me laugh but in the end it taught me a learned a very valuable lesson. Fact of the matter is, racial discrimination is horrible, and it's not often that we obtain to see and hear the information of how deeply it has affected the labor class of the south. I applaud this video for examining that harsh reality, but it's that harshness that hurts the entertainment value of the video. I'll also mention that there are scenes that allude to subplots that gotta have been present in the ebook but that were skipped by the video - I thought that should have been handled better, but overall wonderful.

A storyline of black girls that went through a lot of crap, watching white recipients babes, & black girls working extremely hard at white recipients's homes. They made very tiny dollars compared to what minimum wage is & the highest pay is today. I felt so sorry for those ladies. But there was one really great white lady that hired "Minnie", & what a girl she was. She should really cook & she definitely showed "Cecilia Foote" a several tricks on cooking. Minnie also showed & claimed, Cecilia how to be honest.

I didn't like how she protrade the girl who made the pie to be. Like black girls would be that nasty. I thought it was nasty and disgusting. "The Support" voices the reality and truth of the 1960s in Mississippi When I first watched "The Support" I was just too young to understand the social injustice shown in the video. Now, watching the video, I see all the unfairness and conflicts that had an result on society till this day. This video captures the audience on the stories of colourful girls who work for social highlight families. The girls eventually realize they have more power to create a change, and it's shown throughout the video. This video is set in Mississippi during the 1960s. Skeeter, played by Emma Stone, comes back home from college and pursues to be a writer. She turns the lives of her dudes and their families out of control by interviewing colourful girls who work for these white families. As you can imagine during the 1960s this was not a common interaction between a white and black girl. Abileen, played by Viola Davis, was the housekeeper of one of Skeeter's great dudes, and was the first to share her storyline to Skeeter. This led the dudes of Abileen to share their experiences with Skeeter. "The Support" opens the eyes of the audience to see the reality of racial and social injustice in the 1960s.

The storyline of a domestic during times when "coloreds" were still frowned upon. Oh wait! We're still in many ideas demeaned & treated with disrespect. For example, who saw the dog humping the colourful lady during the superbowl commercial? Who besides myself found THAT offensive?! That was probably about as horrible as Octavia's "poo" being surreptitiously eaten. Both disgusting in their very own right. But nah, I'm not mad just making a target, even if it doesn't necessarily create sense pertaining to the video.
