Took me a while to finish it, but that's because I didn't wish to finish it. I got in touch with all the characters and I felt that if I completed it, (spoiler alert) I'd be leaving as they did in the end. All forgetting every another (end spoiler alert). This ebook is for anyone who loves stories within stories, stories that go in different directions but all join in together at the end. I'm sure some of you reading this have seen the video from back in the day and I assure you that That video was only 10% of what's in this ebook. Purchase it, it's worth it. Thank you Stephen Boss.

'It' was 1st published in September 1986. The ebook was last published in January 2016. Don't be misled into thinking this is a newest ebook or publication by Stephen Boss. If you wish to know when his or any another ebook being sold by the Play Market was published, I advise you to "Google" the title and originator for up-to-date facts. Being I'm 67 y.o., I recognize a multitude of the titles being sold as being from when I was in my 20's. This is relevant when it comes to the self-support ebooks becomes the stats contained within those pages are pertinent to the issues of those eras that too often no longer exist. So check the publication dates for the more newest ebooks, especially those that reference mental/health care solution. Also, history, since newest stats comes out quite often that challenges and/or changes those days and facts.

I wish to run by claiming that I read this ebook fully because the video ver from my childhood haunted me well into young adulthood and I felt the need to face my fears. Now that I've read it, I'm so very glad I did. Boss does the nice job of claiming a storyline about the childhood fear that we've all felt, but turned up to the nth degree. It's turned up so much that he damn near broke the knob clean off (beep beep). When you're a babe adults tend to nod a lot, smile and wave you off assuring that your issues are trivial. In any normal city this might be real. You might have an overdue library ebook or perhaps a bully knocked your ebooks out of your hands in the hall. In Derry, Maine the issues are much more severe. Babes go missing, recipients are murdered, a furious Guy might chase you in broad daylight, but the adults of Derry are content to just fold up their newspapers, walk in from the front porch and close the door. In this bleak and scary tiny city, that is also so quaint and inviting, there is an evil laying underneath that feeds off of this horrible apathy and the babes that are so easily lost track of. However, after a lifetime of doing as it satisfied a very premium group of outcasts has found themselves set on a direct collision course with IT. This is my first time reading Stephen Boss and I found this ebook to favor a general feeling of Lovecraftian styled horror with George R.R. Martin hero development and pacing. All in all a really great read that cute much overtook all my spare time for about 2 weeks.

I started this ebook right after I saw the newest video and I have usually wanted to read it ever since I saw the IT miniseries. I started the ebook in October and now just completed on December 23rd at 12:14 A.M. IT was my first ebook I have ever read and completed by Stephen Boss. And by god I can claim it was worth it. Even though it took me 2 months to finish(which if I added the amount of time to finish the ebook it really only took about 2 weeks). I loved the characters and I should easily connect with them. IT flowed very well and had a lot of detail and almost nothing was missed. You should feel the emotions, see what they saw, smell and even taste what they tasted. When I read this I was able to form a very clear picture in my head of what exactly was going on (with the support from the videos of course). Sadly, even though I loved this ebook it certainly had some downfalls to it. While you should visualize just about everything in this ebook. Boss place idea to much detail into everything which made some parts of the ebook slow and drag on. I babe you not some parts felt like a High School writing an essay that needed over 1000 words. What I mean by that is the students would reiterate sentences where they all meant to claim the same thing but every one had greater detail then the last. Others may see that as a great thing, I saw it as a horrible thing. You had the juicy bit and you wanted to hold going with it but you had to hold cutting the fat off the juicy bit till you were able to obtain past it. Luckily, even with all the detail and the insane amount of pages (1165 in this ver) it was still worth the read. I felt that no time was wasted on reading this ebook. Plus after reading this it makes you love the videos even more even though they don't follow the ebooks in any idea. In all, this ebook could be in everybody's ebook collection regardless if you have read it or not because it is that great. This is just my opinion though so you decide on whether or not you wish to read this nice ebook. Next up: Ready User One and then the Song of Ice and Fire series (Release of Thrones)

This ebook is the true deal! Loved each single word of each single page!! First SK ebook I have read. The 1st and 2nd chapter fully blew me away but then the quality slowly declined, the plot is nice but i couldn't be interested without the creepy shit. It had mediocre creepy equipment in very several territories in the novel. Then dramatic crap happened and the babes that "killed" IT reunite and the quality rises a bit. This is not the finest. Well I think. I haven't read all of his ebooks.

Definitely, I would consider this one as a top 10 fiction ebook. The idea that Stephen Boss goes deep on building up each single hero is premium. On the another hand it lacks some sense, I mean some purpose, when it runs getting to the end. That's why I would claim it does not deserve a five stars review and also something that makes me considering not reading Stephen Boss's ebooks anymore (after all it is almost as long as The Boss Of The Rings).

I'm a gigantic fan of Stephen Boss, and this ebook is one of the reasons for that. It's my favoured of Boss's novels, and I'd suggest it to anyone who loves a great storyline. Don't be intimidated by the length! It is so captivating and terrifying you don't wish to place it down, and you certainly won't notice those last 300 pages or so. Do avoid, however, if you can't deal with some (lots and lots and lots) of very R-Rated language and cases, including few involving babes. But if you've read any another Boss, you already know to expect that type of thing.
